Foodland Woodside Moves to New Location!

29 May 2020

Located between Balhannah and Lobethal, Woodside is a quiet, rural town in the Adelaide Hills, half an hour’s drive from the city centre. The Klose Family, who own Woodside Foodland and several other Foodland stores in the area, have been serving the Adelaide Hills community for over a century. The Klose’s are extremely excited to continue to service the town of Woodside from their new location, which opens to the public on the 3rd of June.

The new Foodland Woodside site boasts large fresh departments and a fresh, modern layout.

“Our previous store in Woodside was much smaller, so this new, larger and more modern store is something I think the community of Woodside is really looking forward to,” Store Manager, Jordan Caldwell, says.

Like all Foodland stores, Woodside is independently owned and operated, which means that customers enjoy the personalised service that you only find at an independent supermarket and benefits like being able to order in new and local products that aren’t stocked elsewhere. It also means stores are run by individuals and families who live and know the region like the back of their hands.

“I’ve lived in the Adelaide Hills my whole life,” Jordan says. “I’ve worked at Foodland for ten years, and love the positive impact the independents have on local communities – Foodland also gave me my very first job!”

Customer service is imperative to Jordan and his team, who believe that great customer service is truly what differentiates Foodland from other supermarket chains. The Klose family, Jordan and his team can’t wait to serve you at Foodland Woodside’s new site!

Open from 7.30am to 9pm every day of the week, make sure to visit Jordan and the mighty team at Woodside Foodland at 25 Onkaparinga Valley Road, Woodside SA 5244!
