Foodland partners with Foodbank to support child hunger

Thousands of students are set to head back to school in a few weeks time, with many of them starting the day on an empty stomach. In the last year alone, 78,000 children have gone hungry in South Australia.

To help support families in need, Foodland Supermarkets are pleased to have partnered with Foodbank SA, the largest provider of food relief programs in the state, which currently supplies more than 550 school programs across SA.

Shoppers can get behind this great cause by purchasing a $2 or $5 token at the register until February 28 at any Foodland store across South Australia. A little goes a long way, helping put 4 and 10 meals on the table.  Most importantly, 100% of the funds will be used for food procurement to be used to support children and families in need.
