Foodland Supermarkets will give its South Australian customers the opportunity to ‘get a selfie with Santa’ for a gold coin donation supporting The Advertiser Foundation Christmas Kids Appeal. Santa will also be giving out South Australian fruit to children.

Foodland Supermarkets Chief Executive Officer Franklin dos Santos said that bringing the spirit of Christmas to all and making it accessible was the main driver.

“With all the news at the moment around interest rates and tough times, we thought we’d spread a little joy by bringing Santa into stores and give our customers the opportunity to get a selfie with him for a gold coin donation and support The Advertiser Foundation Christmas Kids Appeal at the same time.” Mr dos Santos says. “This is such an important cause, and we know that in such a challenging year, kids are needing support and a little happiness more than ever.  Especially leading up to Christmas.”

Santa will be visiting over 18 Foodland stores between Wednesday 7^th December and Friday 23^rd December from 10am-1pm.
