Ingredients
- 170g salted butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs, room temp
- 3 cups plain flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp sea salt flakes
- 2 cups roughly chopped chocolate (mix of dark and milk)

- Large bowl

- Preheat the oven to 180C / 160C fan forced. Line 2 large baking trays with baking paper.
- Melt the butter in a large bowl.
- Add the sugar and beat until fully combined with handheld mixer.
- Add the eggs and vanilla and beat until smooth.
- Add the flour, baking powder and sea salt, then stir until 90% combined.
- Fold through chocolate chunks.
- Scroop balls of dough (roughly 1/4 cup) and set them on the baking trays at least 5cms apart.
- Bake for around 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are golden. Let them cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
