1. CHOOSE WHERE YOU RUN
With the City-Bay running as a virtual event, you can choose where you run! This year it is up to you, with our help of course! This could be flat terrain, downhill, uphill or even your treadmill in the comfort of your home. Check out our Facebook and Instagram pages for great running tracks and trails around Adelaide!
Not only could you run at your favourite spot, you could also take the chance to discover a little more of Adelaide and find a new favourite spot.
2. RAISE MONEY FOR A GREAT CAUSE
You can become a City-Bay Fun run hero and raise funds for a great cause. You can choose from over 20+ charities listed on our website or support a different cause or charity that’s close to you!
Usually the City-Bay takes place on a single morning, but this year it’s open until the 30th of November. This allows plenty of time to train and ready yourself for either a 3km, 6km, 12km or marathon race depending on your style and then even more time to run it! If you’ve been putting it off now’s the time, no more excuses when you’ve got the whole month 😉
4. A FUN EXCUSE TO IMPROVE YOUR RUNNING
Something that you complete by yourself or with your friends or family, the City-Bay could be a fun excuse to get fit, improve your running skills or justify those sneakers that you didn’t think you needed. Something to bring you closer to the people around you and get you outside after a long year of being inside.
5. CHOOSE YOUR DIFFICULTY
Along with being able to choose your own course you can choose your difficulty! Starting with the length of the race, you can pick a 3km, 6km, 12km and 21km you can also choose your terrain. Go with the flow and pick a down-hill run or challenge yourself to an uphill run, this year it’s entirely up to you!
