Adelaide: Our Top Spots, Exclusive Accommodation Deals & More!

Adelaide is truly bursting with culture, flavours, events and entertainment. Enjoy world-class dining experiences, luxury accommodation, the thriving art scene and more. What an exciting place to live, enjoy and explore.

Here are our top things to do in Adelaide …

Discover Adelaide from above

If you’re a thrilling, heart racing experience, after a day of dining out and exploring the city to your heart’s content, we recommend experiencing one of the best views (and stadiums!) in Australia, by doing the famous Adelaide Oval Roof Climb. Truly an experience you won’t forget, you’ll see 360 views of Adelaide and beyond and you may catch a cracking game of AFL footy!

Still after a bit more adventure? Head to Tree Climb, Australia’s first inner-city Aerial Adventure Park. 70 obstacles, over 7 different routes, this is a must-do for those who aren’t afraid of heights!

Support local eateries

Adelaide is seriously buzzing with some of the best dining experiences in the world. You can’t go past the likes of Africola and Golden Boy, as well as cafes such as Hey Jupiter, Whistle and Flute or The Commissary. Also, a trip to the beloved Pancake Kitchen is always a must, right?!

For trendy bars and delicious cocktails, our favourites include 2KW Bar and Restaurant, The Gallery, Twenty Third Distillery, Malt Shovel Taphouse and Bank Street Social, to name a few. It’s also a great experience visiting a themed bar, such as The Sorcerer’s Bar (wizard themed cocktails!), Nola (New Orleans inspired!) and Bibliotheca Bar & Book Exchange (book inspired cocktails and spirits!).

Want to take that extra step into supporting local? Head to your local Foodland or visit markets such as Adelaide Central Market, Adelaide Farmers’ Market, Gilles at the Grounds, Plant 4 Bowden and the Fishermen’s Wharf Markets!

Be a tourist

Be a tourist in your own city. Stroll through the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, head to the Aquatic Centre, or open your mind at the South Australian Museum and the Art Gallery of South Australia.

While you’re in the city, a visit to the Adelaide Zoo is a must do. One of Adelaide’s most iconic attractions, the Adelaide Zoo is home to 2500 animals and 250 different species! It is the oldest zoo in Australia, so it’s a great part of our heritage, and even better – is is fully owned and operated by a conservation charity, Zoos SA!
