It all started back in 1992 when Foodland and local dairy manufacturers Golden North agreed to produce a quality ice cream which would carry the name Foodland.
So heralded the birth of the Foodland range in our stores and since then many other iconic SA companies such as Spring Gully Foods, Robern Menz and Vilis have come on board to produce quality product for the Foodland private label range.

The Foodland range has now grown to over 200 products and it provides our customers with an additional choice of locally made food adding to the selection of trusted brands already stocked in our stores.

Our policy is to ensure that at least half of the Foodland product range is produced here in our home state of South Australia with the remainder only being sourced from Australian producers.

We are proud that local South Aussie manufacturers produce our honey, jam, sauce, drinks, olive oil, confectionery, eggs, milk and oats to name a just a few.
In fact there are now 108 out of 206 items being produced here in South Australia.

So as we celebrate our 50th birthday, we are proud to put the Foodland brand on a quality range of local food products that come with our guarantee that they are all produced by local and Australian producers.
